Welcome The World's First Windows 8 Smartphone - Samsung ATIV S

Samsung Ativ S Windows 8 phone
Samsung announced the first ever Windows 8 smartphone on Wednesday, if you have been wondering what the first dual-core Windows phone will look like, here  it is.
VITA is spelled backwards to give the word ' ATIV'. It features a slim design measuring 137.2 mm x 70.5 mm x 8.7 mm and weighs 135 grams, a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.

It is equipped with 8 megapixel camera ( why not 12MP) and 1.9 megapixel at the front, 1GB RAM and a 2,300 mAh battery ('good one there') and support for microSD card slot with a 16GB or 32GB internal memory. There is also NFC capability for easy file sharing as was seen in the Galaxy S III.
Pricing is unavailable as at now, but hopefully when the Windows 8 is launched in October, there will be  answer to that.
What does this mean for Nokia, HTC, SONY? The standard has been set by Samsung, will Nokia follow suit or improve on this? I hope Nokia puts the PureView camera in there upcoming windows 8 device, that will be 'eye-catching'.
