Samsung today announced the Galaxy Note II at the pre-IFA press conference. The Samsung Galaxy Note II is built around a 5.5" Super AMOLED screen of 1280 x 720 resolution (down from the 1280 x 800 resolution of the original Note).
It is equipped with some amazing specs like 3100 mAh battery, 2G RAM and the Samsung-made Exynos 4 Quad chipset (quad-core) CPU clocked at 1.6GHz. For the photo lovers, you will get an 8MP camera on the back and 1.9MP at the front. I wondered why Samsung still stops at 8MP camera, why not 12MP considering numerous competitors?
The most interesting thing about this Note II is the S-Pen, which has been redesigned by making it longer and thicker, thus adding new cool tricks. One of the tricks here is dubbed `Air View`, which enables you to hover a video, news, email, etc. and preview the contents without having to open them.
The Phoneblet will support 4G LTE with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options with MicroSD slot support. Unfortunately, pricing is not yet available as at the time of writing. The Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available in Europe this October with US and worldwide availability coming shortly afterwards.
